This is a collection of my fine art and studies. I use a mix of media, ranging from traditional pencils and prismacolor markers to digital renderings and vectored lines. I make an effort to draw every day, even if I can only spare 5 minutes. Slow and steady wins the race.
My drawing process is similar to my design process. I get the overall layout done as soon as possible, focusing on proportions and larger values. I reserve the yummy details for the end.
I sometimes like to blend traditional media with digital accents. I scan the drawing and add elements in procreate or illustrator.
Part of my drawing routine includes gesture drawing. I go with a theme for each set to keep things uniform. Its good to mix design with drawing, being aware of negative space and shapes.
